ROTATE/FILTER/STYLE Google Photos & Blogger Images
You can edit & beautify Google photos, Blogger images & other Google Cloud images services on the fly without an editor according to your needs, magically by changing some parameters in the image URL. today we will talk about most used parameters to rotate, style & filter all images hosted by Google the easy way .
We use the image URL , so all what you have to do is right click the image &select open image in new tab or copy image address.
Example:
https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXc_YhnvdFIR6pNXD953D0_STI919U2zoWaaDj9rPZqimw-MPWcHb7oGHjebgpYYqaYKIfTdXJyEQhg1oXrC-cGv5vEEMENhI2lxq1hp4cOz0bDQgpii5JIKeILImu0RwQeNxgjZYo5js//fv-fbw=1/
the parameters in bold red are the parameters that we are going to change according to our needs
Now start tweaking the URL to change the image size as follow
ROTATION
fv — flip vertically
fh — flip horizontally
r{90, 180, 270} — rotates image 90, 180, or 270 degrees clockwise
example
Filters
fSoften=1,100,0: - where 100 can go from 0 to 100 to blur the image
fVignette=1,100,1.4,0,000000 where 100 controls the size of the gradient and 000000 is RRGGBB of the color of the border shadow
fInvert=0,1 inverts the image regardless of the value provided
fbw=0,1 makes the image black and white regardless of the value provided

ReplyDeleteGreat explanation of how to edit Google-hosted images via URL! Just a quick note: I noticed you used one of my photos on Pinterest with the URL changed, and the pin links to your blog instead of mine.
ReplyDeleteI’d kindly ask you to update the link to point to my original blog as the source. Giving proper credit is important and helps keep things fair.
